New model of Mitsubishi FTO

I would conventionally divide the cars drawn by the AI into Concept cars and versions similar to the Nissan GTR.

  • Concept car

The concept version has coupe and crossover style options. In the variation of the crossover, the car also received forms similar to a coupe with an expressive shape and a high profile. AI designed a front with classic Mitsubishi wedge shapes and headlights in kind of stripes.

Besides, AI drew a design that is more smooth and even crosses with the look of old TVRs (the 4th image). The 3rd one has notes of SupraMk5 (especially the headlights).

  • GTR style

Saying that all cars are drawn in the GTR style is a mistake. Some of them resemble other Japanese sports cars, such as the Toyota GR 86 or Toyota Supra Mk5, and Honda Civic Coupe, CRZ. Compared to the old Mitsubishi FTO, the design of the front part has drastically changed – smooth lines of the old model transitioned into sharp wedge-like and sharp elements. Also, some changes were made to the car’s profile, for example, the roof shape, the side window became more angular. The black window pillars strongly resemble the solution of the Nissan GTR. Rear-end images include design ideas applied to the Lexus LC500, Honda NSX (2016-2022), and Mitsubishi Eclipse.
